The Cleveland native started the 2009 season in York and put together a .271 average with 85 hits, 46 runs scored and 21 RBIs for the Revolution. He was traded to the Bears on September 4 and batted .277 in 15 games played. The 28 year-old was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 3rd Round (85th overall) of 2002 amateur entry draft. He spent five seasons in the Padres organization, peaking with Triple-A Portland of the Pacific Coast League in 2005 and 2006. The former Indiana Hoosier had a career season in 2008 with the Revolution. He finished the year with a .333 average, fourth best in the league, and he recorded a perfect day at the plate going went 6-for-6, including a three-run walk-off home run, which was a team first.
