2010 season begins at home April 22 against Camden
(Newark, N.J., Nov. 16, 2009) - Newark Bears team officials today announced the release of their schedule for the 2010 season.
The 2010 schedule will include 140 contests and features 70 home games at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium. The Bears will begin their season at home with a four-game series against the Camden Riversharks and their new manager, Von Hayes, on Thursday, April 22. Following the inaugural tilt against Camden, Newark will wrap up their opening homestand with a three-game set against Tommy Herr and the Lancaster Barnstormers. The home schedule includes 12 weekend series. The complete 2010 Newark Bears schedule is listed below. Game times have not been released.
